Love, love, LOVE this!!! Hilarious that you thought it was about zombies- perhaps it should/could be…. Hmmmm… (Admiral Bob jokingly said he thought it was about zombies, too… Very interesting.) I absolutely love the piano, guitar… well, everything… it’s so dramatic and exciting. Also, parts of what you did with the ooo’s make me think of The Cranberries! (One of my fav bands as a teenager, the first concert I ever went to, AND one of their biggest hits was… “Zombie”!) Okay, I don’t have too much time right now, but if you were to upload an instrumental version (one that includes the backups, just not the lead vocal), I’d love to play with it (change the lyrics some and re-sing it) and make it truly about zombies! (It will likely be a while until I get to it, but it will go on my project list!) Thanks a ton for remixing this so creatively!
p.s. Sorry I didn’t see this earlier! I didn’t get a notification. :( |

Kara, I heart your brain!!! Thanks for even considering this. Cool. Your explanation about the origin of the zombies seems consistent. I also remember Admiral whispering something directly into my subconscience. This is where the zombies came from. And now, I also remember a whole bunch of ooo´s of the cranberries. Whatever…I will upload the instrumental version up to the stems tommorow and try not to burst with curiosity about what you´ll do while distracting me with other things!

Finally! I really, really hope you dig it, Hans! Thanks for the inspiration and for your amazing remix. I’m sure you could do a better production job than what I did… I also uploaded the vocal stems. Wanna do a remix of a remix of a remix of a remix…? HA! ;)
