The ideas and sounds are interesting but it seemed a bit monotonous to me. I think an additional synth melody could improve it very well, as well as some fx.

yes, it’s always a tension, because some repetition is usual to this genre, but I do think more synth melodies would help.

Nice job on the blending of the sound effects, but this song isn’t all that great. The beat is repetitive, and it doesn’t go anywhere at all. This song had a lot of potential, but most of the song sounds like blank space.

I liked it! It sounded like a Japapnese sports car commercial you know the extended ones they show before movies with beautiful people driving around being beautiful and knowing they’re cool.

Towards the end I found myself singing lyrics over it… I sing like crap….but I heard Shirley Bassie in my head?

Very cool.

Thanks! Japanese car show is the type of thing I hoped to achieve.

Shirley Bassey would be cool!

I had flashbacks of the Pi sountrack. This fantastic. This should be a video. Hmmm, *stares at the his unused video editing software and endless public domain/cc material*.

Thanks! I hope the sounds are indeed short-film-cinematic.

I like this. So it’s a little repetitive, it’s the nature of the beast with a piece like this (and let’s face it, Kraftwerk did 20 mins of Autobahn - which I also love - based on a repetitive rhythm/synth line). I’d maybe have toned the beat down a bit, but that’s just me. Respect and thanks.

Thanks! I intended it to be repetitive for just the reason you say—as a kind of electronica genre-piece. I love Autobahn, too, and I wish I could do something as fun as that.

Beats always make me uncomfortable, which always makes me bring them up, a little like someone shy who talks too loud :).
