thanks, cdk. I ran across the Belief Systems beats, which are minimalist, virtually the only kind I enjoy using, and I felt I had to do something with the track.
What I had on hand was a few recent discordant synth tracks, so I thought I would try to aim for that trance/techno/noise angle. It doesn’t completely work here, but it may be an avenue to explore for me in the long run.
