Wonderful ambient beauty that feels as if it reflects your delight and appreciation for that which inspires you. I always love how you takes source material and extract that which suits your vision and transform it completely into something uniquely Gurdonarkian! Thank you so much for including me in this gentle sonic exploration.

p.s. I looked at your picture of the spider — great picture, and while I am not unfriendly toward spiders, I must admit, I do not like them too close! Although I do love the big Autumn webs that make their way into the garden in October, especially when they reflect like silver threads in the moonlight.

Thank you for such kind words. I am pleased to have the opportunity to work with such fun samples.

The orb spider makes such lovely webs—but they have a way of being in the middle of hiking trails, which is unfortunate! Last year, at a lake in my region called Tawakoni, a group of spiders built this cool art piece:

I’m delighted on two counts: that I’m included in a mix by you along with SJ and Jacinda; and I’m also a big fan of spiders! Especially the house spiders we have here, which are neat, clever and busy tidying up flies and other debris. I try never to step on them or wash them away or accidentally hoover them up. Therefore … thank you, G, for bringing me into this very beautiful track. xx

Thank you for lending your sample. Your voice (a snippet of you singing “how lucky”) turned into a bit of cross-current underlay for the melody.

We tend to get huge garden spiders, who dash in to escape the late Autumn cold. Spiders fascinate me!

Early morning meditative music. I could imagine myself in the forest.

Cool! You’d love this particular forest—it’s the more precious because it is set amid an area which is largely fields and farmland.

I always love your ambient goodies and this is no different. Like Ciggi, I am a fan of spiders. I’m also delighted to be mixed with two of my favorite ccm ladies.
