This is a really great alt-rock treatment. The guitars on their own building to the strings which climb in intensity the longer they go build suspense, until the percussion drops out, where the strings are pure pathos and intensity as the guitars pound harder.
Its a nice touch that there’s no real bass presence until the 3/4 mark or so. And ending on a solo vocal note is a perfect close. |

Intensity on this one is far beyond any measurement. I guess one of the reasons for it is the the missing bass.
