Very imaginative and beautiful. I hear music in the mundane as well. I’ve used the sound of my clothes dryer with coins and metal buttons; As well as the dripping of my kitchen sink as percussive tracks in the past. Music and rhythm are all around us. We’ve only to open our minds and ears to hear it. Wonderful track, and great lyrics!

Thanks JL! Did you use your dryer on CCMixter? I’d like to hear that! |

No, the dryer is not present on the mixter. I’ve a bunch of other similar sounds from my job: Metal work. 100’s of machines with unique rhythmic qualities. They’re all on an older computer. I need to go through the lot, and make them useful.

What a great set of musical/lyrical ideas! What a 21st century poem you’ve created.

Deb, this is inspired. I’ve listened to it three times already. It’s a small masterpiece and completely engaging and delightful. xxxx
