Yes! These beats are awesome — very tasty with lots of space to get a groove on. I love how you have the voice playing with the beats (particularly like the places where the voice and the cymbal are playing with each other). And the end…well, I may have to keep that part from my husband! Thanks so much for picking me up and mixing me up in here!

Cool. Thanks for the encouraging words.

Quote: SackJo22 And the end…well, I may have to keep that part from my husband! Yeah, sorry ‘bout that. It’s just that the song was called Senseless Seduction even before I stumbled across Yes, so when I did find it I was like “YES”!! :) Just seemed like the perfect icing for the cake.

Oh this is such a clever mix! It has so much going on and yet does feel sensual and relaxed. SJ sounds absolutely divine, even though she’s being a bad girl. I don’t know, I think her husband might like this one too ….

Thanks CiggiBurns!! Yes SJ was being naughty, but honestly her friskiness is genuine in vibe which is why I think it works.

Very Nice!!!! Very Nice!!
Did you do this in record? I like the live drum sounds you used on this. Really cool feel and sweet groove.
Love the “yes” at the end. Nice touch.

Thanks J!! Yeah, this was done in Record. The drum kit is from Addictive Drums that I’ve sampled to use natively in Record/Reason.

Man - I want to say “clever”, but I don’t want it to sound like you’ve pulled off a parlour trick. This is clever in the sense of being intelligent, musical, light-hearted and just thoroughly enjoyable.

Love it.

Cool. Although, I have been known to pull off a parlor trick or two, as well. The slice tool can be swifter than the ear sometimes. :)

All kidding aside, though, I definitely appreciate the comments.
