It’s noisy. It’s dark. And she has the perfect voice for such music. Maybe I will have a go with one of her pellas after completing the CS project. Anyway, I like it a lot.

You’re not supposed to be able to turn this much noise into beautiful music. There are rules about these types of things.

You bastard. :)

Good to have you back. I’ve missed your tracks.

Oh, those weren’t names. I can give you names if you want names.

Hoo-boy, can I give you names.

Umm. What were we talking about again? Oh yes - excellent track. Good on ya. :)

I love that backing noisy techno track!

About the vocals, it may be some issue with my ears but I cannot understand which key is kristin following in her songs (is she actually following any key at all?). But her “cavern-like” voice [*] is undoubtely lovely and fits this kind of music perfectly.

So you call 29 days a “long break”? We all have a life besides ccMixter — unless someone is supporting your remix work, of course, but I doubt so! :P

[*] Spanish idiom: voz cavernosa

Not sure what to make of this one!

Got a bit of the drone thing going and it does not seem to lead anywhere.

As you hint at in your notes you know it’s different but for me it does not work.

Love the “noise”. She sounds breathlessly angelic and provides focal point of calm amongst the drone and buzz. Very cool.

It has sort of “New Order” quality for me, in a good way of course.
So I do like it because you have found again a very interessting type of backing for the vocals of KH.
But tell me, where have you been to be able doing again such a good (noiy) track? :-)

Well i just got back from hauling all the kids across the country for their (and mine) first visit to Disneyland, spent a week there and then some time in San Diego. San Diego=beautiful—Disney=Hell
I think this is my stomp on Mickey mix!

for some reason I was reminded of the 3 weird sisters in MacBeth - there was a sinister, occult feeling to the offering, like a conjuration….
Nice to see you romping off to experimental fields….and whether noise or not is in the ear of the be-hearer.

Thanks Anchor—I did enjoy this romp and I am happy to hear it bought on such feelings for you—they are very nice ones in my mind anyway!

Oh yes! KH is a difficult woman to mix (I have had many failed attempts myself) this is so beautiful. Miley Cyrus won’t be covering this anytime soon.

I like the way you have wrapped the voice of Kristin. I think the atmosphere is perfect. Thanks for an extraordinary listening.

Hi AT. Imressive electronic sfuff. Great distorted parts and dark atmosphere. Any chance to upload distorted synh samples? Thanks a lot:)

The hersh ameliorates the harsh, which didn’t come close to my expectations (after reading the reviews first) anyway. I quite like it. It’s kind of death metal lite. Just replace the synths with maxed out guitars, the vocalist with some screaming idiot and triple the bpm. (Kidding of course, please don’t. Kind of upset with my imagination for even going there.)
