I love it! My girlfriend was very amused when I danced across the room like Fred Astaire. |

Awesome swing- the classic interaction between the piano and bass, plus bonus drums solo :)
Thanks for remixing me mate and congrats on the Ed pick! |

Thank you so much, I’m happy you enjoyed the song. I was actually very inspired after listening to a few Buddy Rich documentaries, especially for the drum solo. His orchestra(s) were pretty cutting edge for their time, and I wanted to try to emulate that sound in a simplistic way. My choice of using the key of F was a difficult one because I really wasn’t sure if I could pull it off, but your vocal made it easier to go for it as I went along. I’m happy it worked.

Ummm… this is fantastic! Totally wonderfully surprising to hear after I just listened to Scomber’s mix. And that’s one the things I love about ccMixter the most… how a well-written song can be taken in so many directions. Magic! Congrats on the Ed Pick!

Oh.
A few days not around here and Whitewolf kicks ass with such a great swinging jazz backtrack. Wonderful brass works. Sounds like an awefull lot of hands on that section. |
