I was actually very inspired after listening to a few Buddy Rich documentaries, especially for the drum solo. His orchestra(s) were pretty cutting edge for their time, and I wanted to try to emulate that sound in a simplistic way. My choice of using the key of F was a difficult one because I really wasn’t sure if I could pull it off, but your vocal made it easier to go for it as I went along. I’m happy it worked.
