Thank you! Yes, the drums are the very classic amen break cut up in ol’ skool jungle fashion. I think some of the hi-hat is drum machine though, but the rest is all amen brotha. I’ve been considering re-tooling this track to use more of the freestyle in the actual music, and maybe string it along better than it is.

Well, the sample isn’t really from Amen Brother, I think it’s just a recreation of the break because it came off a sample cd I got with a electronic music magazine I believe? I got like a million diffrent “amen” permutations, it said they were all royalty free/public domain/whatever it doesn’t matter - I redid the entire beat of the song using the drum machine anyways (sampling the drum machine, of course) and replaced the file with the new one, so check it out, no amen
