There’s a really neat effect I like in this…. the fretless tight like a slap bass, but still fretless and dreamy. You’ve got the slow strings, gentle rhodes, crunching guitars, and synth shots… a lot of odd juxtapositions that still make a cohesive whole. And the traditional classical vocal adds to the cohesive oddness. :)

Wordy way of saying I like it!

Love the crunchy guitars and how Darkrooms samples bring such immediacy. And cellos make me swoon.

Thanks, yeah me too. Cello is a special instrument to me. The resonating chamber is roughly equivalent to a human’s so it has a human soul. That’s how I see it anyway : )

such beautiful piano work! the rhythm section enters in perfect fashion. such lovely guitar and string work. there are many delightful sounds and instruments, each taking stage in just the right way. ah, and then the vocals enter to take the magic to a new level. a uniquely beautiful piece from you Jeris. you are capable in all genres, of course, but this seems to have stretched you into new territory. bravo. excellent excellent work here.

Thats really nice done. Your remixes mostly sound as they were easily done, but I guess even you spent some time on composing so much fine tunes….

Thanks!! I think I did spend some time on this one, although I think I spent a lot more time on the first part but it doesn’t sound like it.
