Nice choice of samples and I think the production is fine. We all have musical preferences and I would have mixed the tracks differently but that doesn’t mean better. Stop giving yourself a hard time. You’re doing fine!

What?!? “Bad quality”? No way, DICE. You ROCK! Seriously. I always enjoy your mixes and I LOVE that you do so much experimenting with styles and genres. I’ve learned things from your work (like playing with the placement of vocals). This mix of snowflake and SackJo22’s voices is inspired. The “dance, dance, dance” lines are so catchy! Love it.

Thank you very much Kara!!! This is really encouraging. I’m always frightened by the beauty of the work of others. Thanks again for your great review, glad you appreciated it!

Hey Dice, that feeling of “paranoia” when you listen to other producers’ work is perfectly normal - and it’s a good thing, and it actually shows you are on the right path to becoming a truly great producer because it means you will keep working hard to improve your skills. If you listened to every track you made and thought “Yeah, this is perfect - I’m the King of ccMixter” then you would never try harder on your next song. I get the same feeling you get - I think my song might be okay and then I listen to someone much more talented and I then think “actually, my song sounds garbage in comparison” (especially if I have the misfortune of being next to Zep in the listings!), but I channel that feeling into my next song and try and improve in some way. Like Kara said, you try loads of different styles, which is a great thing, and brave, and although this particular song isn’t to my own personal preference (and that’s just my taste), I’ve loved a lot of your music and recommended it.

And remember, the very best producers on this site are probably listening right now to music by some famous artist and thinking “My music is garbage compared to this”!

So keep feeling that feeling and turn it from your enemy into your friend - that’s what will make you THE BEST!

It’s very nice to know that’s normal, it makes me feel a little more comfortable :)

Thank you very much Numeron for your wise teachings and your kindness! I really appreciated your words.

This is one of the most beautiful comments I have seen here at ccMixter. Sentiments like what you expressed here is why I love ccMixter so much. Thank you for being part of our community.

Like to agree a lot to Kara regarding the female voices (a lucky? no a skilled hand for this!)
I would like to humbly add that you let my piano shine very nice as well.
The jazzy moment in a dance track is always like a resparkling moment!
The remix is infectious on the dance floor and will give dancing ladies enough room and possibilities to maximize their impacts on men!
Sexy and explosive production my friend and thanks for using my stuff in this splendid way

I am not dance music enthusiast, but I know we have summer:) I like what you did here. I always realize that you go with vocals very well capturing harmony and meaning. Good that you try diffrent styles

Self doubt is the curse of every creative process so it’s pretty natural to feel lousy at times. Don’t we all do that?
I think you’ve done a really nice radio-dance track.

This is fabulous! Love the energy, the pulse. You did a great job with the vocals which you cut really well and are totally in the pocket. Congrats on your foray into the world of dance — I think it’s time to party to this high quality mix! Thanks so much for remixing me. Bravo!
