Whoa. I was happily listening to the ambient intro, and got a heck of a nice surprise at the mid-point.

Sounds like you’ve spent a lot of time sharpening your mixing and production skills, as it all comes together here.

Nice work. Glad you shared.

Thanks Colab, I owe some of my improved skills to Spinmeister who gave me some excellent mixing advice in the past.

You’re giving me way too much credit. The talent and imagination is all yours. And it was you who introduced us to the concept of the extreme stretch as a musical vehicle. Hope things are well with you!

Compared to what i know from your earlier work something has changed in your soundtreatment. Seems you added more ‘body’ to it. Makes the ambient trip through these high frequenties extra nice. Good work Steve.

Yes. “Body”. Very good. That’s precisely what I was thinking, but I didn’t know it at the time.

I’m listening again and it’s still as good as last time.

What a lovely piece of music. It reminds me of the natural world around us: Some things move very slowly - almost too slow to notice any movement, others move very fast - too fast to fully discern, and then there is our own speed, some of it natural and some of it mechanical.

Very cool concept and execution!

Hey Steve,

I don’t know if this is the remix you were referring to on MySpace, but anyway, great stuff. Ambient Plus. Which reminds me, I have to play your Another Winter EP soon.
