Sue, first, thank you for adding your gorgeous harmonies and for writing such beautiful words. Second, thank you for pulling it all together for the final mix. Third, thanks for embarking on this adventure and being a fantastic mate. xxxx Mo

I love that the two of you are getting serious about harmonizing (figuratively AND literally!) over such distance. This is not trivial compared to sitting and singing together. Color me impressed and also touched by the sheer beauty of your work.

The most beautiful harmony singing I’ve heard in a very long time. I mean it.

Thank you so much Per. I love vocal harmonies — to me they are the reason to sing. And this song really was inspired by you, by the way.

The man from the North
is steady and not
but underneath his eyes
in the cold of the ice
buried she lies
and finds comfort

…though in her song, he was gone.

until the thaw
until the time of another song…

… and wears his shirt
but not his shoes
and thinks why so
there always is
a sound echo

but shrugs it off
as one of those things
a half hearted thought
and truncated musing

so off she drives
and looks not back
‘cause the man in the South
does not play the trombone…
