Your lyrics are amazing. I especially enjoy when you take an unexpected twist on traditional love song imagery. I’m putting this one on repeat for a while.

In terms of use of language that’s pretty much what I was aiming for. Thanks so much for listening (especially more than once!)

Ditto what ^that guy^ said. Nice clean production too. Much enjoyed.

It’s still not quite as catchy as ‘Don’t You’ but I did my best. Thank you Speck.

Captivating and heartwarming, a fully engaging narrative, I appreciate the openness to interpretation!
Ingenious that SO SHA’s parts fit perfectly with the main melody :)

Really glad you liked this. I know I’m not usually a purveyor of romantic optimism or any kind of optimism. I can only put it down to Sha’s life-affirming energies pulling me in a more positive direction.

Awesome lyrics. Always so great to hear you sing. I love the mysterious sound mixed with a whole lot of hope. Lovely.

I think the various elements do work well together in this track, for whatever reason. I’ve always appreciated your take on my singing voice because it’s one of many things I’m still massively insecure about.

I was hesitant to combine the piece with one of my own songs for various reasons. Also it’s not the way Sha’s usually been sampled here but I just went with it in the end. I’m glad the resulting upload made some kind of emotional and musical sense. Many thanks to you and the others for selecting it for the livestream the other day.
