I was worried I was overstating the obvious. But then sometimes I suppose the obvious is the thing that gets obscured by the politics. Thank you.

love the words and the sound effects
ccmixter and so forth are the way forward for political/protest songs most of the majors’ output these days rather than telling it like it is, as were the great bands gone by, is about distracting the population from realising they’re being shafted, with a little bit of titty to make it seem edgy! |

Appreciated. It was a tricky thing to judge the sound effects. War’s not a subtle thing but the sound effects needed to be relatively subtle because they could be so easily overdone.

Yep. Naturally depressing, but that’s not a bad thing in my book. The truth is refreshing. This is very, very well stated and performed, Robert. Your voice has a Dylan-esk feel to it in this one.

Thank you Kara. I always hope there’ll be a comment by you, however downbeat the material. My New Year’s resolution is to try and lighten up a little - but then I say that every year.

Pointed, heartbreaking lyrics. War saddens me so deeply. Thank you for touching on this important topic through this provoking song. And thank you for including me. Peace.
