Your pitch detector is working well! Yes there is a slight variation between the two. I did change the vocal slightly in Melodyne but felt the rephrasing I did on the vocal needed an edgy pitchy sound to enhance the vocals message. That said I will have another listen with your words in mind. Keep safe and keep singing

Just had another listen with freshly cleaned ears and you are absolutely right it is way off pitch! Don’t know what came over me! I will remix it and see what happens

the vocal chop works well (often necessary to drop phraes on the bar line). and a half-step pitch difference is such a tiny thing between good friends…thxs for the ‘stay safe’. all the hurricane damage is 100 miles south of where Ciggi and I live.

I have taken the easy way out and dropped your vocal down from Eb to D minor and with a bit more tweaking the mix sounds better
