Immediately before starting the mix (in this version), I was watching a scene in The Book of Life where PJ Harvey (as Mary Magdalene) sings along to a song while listening to store headphones. Perhaps its impression on me came across in my work. It’s a lovely scene to me and that kind of sound can be quite moving in many ways. Thanks for the kind words! meow
