immediate heart opener. we’ve had three straight weeks of dark sky and heavy rains and flooding, yet as i listen the sun is finally appearing. your poetic lyrics and emotive voice bring tears to my eyes. “behind us there is nothin’ anymore…” loving the different sections of your mix. just beautiful.

Yes, I timed that just for you ;-). We’ve had a long spell of cold drizzle here in NoCal, and suddenly a couple of dry beautiful (though still chilly) days just now…

Distinctly airtone and Mr.Yesterday styles in one …
… a match made in the stars! Excellent choices for the backing track :) |

Not at all to imply flippancy (since this is definitely grown-up music about grown-up feelings), but- like a Cake song says: “As soon as you’re born, you start dyin’- so ya might as well have a good time”.

That’s a great backdrop for your voice and lyrics. I was sad for a moment when I thought you hadn’t uploaded the pell.

I just wanted to wait until I’d sorted out the NC-sampling-plus license wrinkle since I’d just put (CC)BY-NC in the file metadata. All square now.

Well, this is sure beautiful. You stirred something in my heart. I think the Universe is love… and I think most of us human folk are ready to evolve into it. I keep telling myself that this insanity is a catalyst for massive change. Of course, we don’t know which way it will go. So thanks for the reminder to embrace any and all moments of peace.

I’m hoping you’re right, Kara. While I lean a bit toward the sci-fi romanticism of Babylon 5 when I think about it—“We are the universe trying to understand itself”—this one took over and wrote itself while I listened to an endless loop of airtone’s accessibleFilterscapes and it felt just right. Thanks.
