Well there is so much about this mix I personally love,and its your voice that leads me on the journey. I had no idea where it was all going until each bar was built and I suppose in the end that’s why I still do all this, as in this case the music grows and reveals itself to you from what you are saying rather than what I want to play. Then in the last verse I wanted you to sing to what had gone before so edited the lines. I must have played it a couple of hundred times now and it’s time I don’t regret giving up. Thanks for the Vocals x

A long time ago, after you had posted your 10th remix online, I said you were writing the book on remixing. Here we are, many many remixes later, and the book is now a multi-volume encyclopedia, and you say you’re still learning. I guess you are, but the question is…do you like it? :-)
Joking and references aside, thank you for continuing to show by example that making music is not just magic, it is craft born of hours spent with raw material, inspiration and the drive to keep growing and expanding. |
