Leza’s Vocals are sweet like chocolate on this.
I’m feeling you on the NLVocals, the quality could have been much better. I like effects you added to the NLVocals. It make up for the poor quality.
Nu soul, old shoe groove… love it
Thanks for the early morning smile.

Hi Jay-

Don’t know if you have any advice on how to improve sound quality. As I said to LS, I just press record lol! What else should I do to improve the sound quality. L

Hi LS-

Please advise how to make a better recording. I am using logic, the mic is rode NT1A, I am sitting at a desk with the mic next to me and then press record. What else should I be doing to improve the sound quality? Cheers Leza

The commit about the better quality, was not meant towards you Leza. Your vocals are sweet to the ear and soul. Keep up the good work.

Hey there.

Your pella was Ok. If you mail me though i will talk thru what you can do to make it even better.

It was Ambiance that i had a problem with. I know many people don’t have access to good quality mics but my belief is, is that if you are going to upload material to a site like this and respect your own output, then you should want it to be the best it can be. It will also have more chance of being used.

Monies tight i know but it doesn’t cost a lot these days to make a good home recording.

Mmmmmm…warm chocolate pastry and coffee would be real nice right now…but this mix is less fattening and I’m too lazy to grind the beans. Lovely.

LOL@”old_shoes!

This sounds & feels like creamy milk chocolate! Mmmmm….rich and smooth to the tongue! Sounds like Jeff just finished diving deep into ‘Creepin’ by Mr Wonder (or Luther’s version, for that matter…)! It has that similar dreamy, floating quality that one can’t help but sink into! Fantastic job!

BTW, Ambiance & Leza:
Here’s a link to mic I use ( http://tinyurl.com/29hyevm ) when I record vocals. It’s very inexpensive and if you’ve heard of the stuff I’ve been blessed to have had re-made and re-created by the Masters DJ Lang & Loveshadow, it seems to get the job done.

Nice neo soul, quiet storm music, LS. Cool mashup.

Did you use a denoise process on Ambiance7’s vocal to reduce the hum or use “as is”?
