Relaxing Mix you added a downtempo vibe and lowered the tempo on the vocals. Its just what the world needs to chill abit and let the poles chill again..but competetion may get in the way people will have to learn to live in a slower pace again can we?…is an excellent question also i now what its like to live without a few things like a car? cellphone…and home…lets say my door dosn’t get any knocks..but atleast i have accessibility to a music studio for awhile. I working on a mix of this but i must admit this one is beautiful. I could imagine people slow dancing to this one…very chill..Thanks

Excellent mix! Particularly like the way you use the vocal materials to make your own thing, but in a way that respects the original.

Yes I do believe we can :-). If you see this comment and haven’t heard the new version as of 4/16…do yourself a favor and give it a listen. The first version lacked development which the second makes up for substantially.

I was struck here, as I was the first time I ever noticed one of LS’s productions with the emotion in the voice. Slowing it down and bringing it forward, giving it room to breathe and resonate. I know of few producers anywhere who can draw that much out of the sound of one human, especially given the fact that the track is pre-recorded so it cannot respond to real time requests for expression.

This mix makes in it’s production the point. The voice is out front and extended demanding to be heard in it’s plea. So is this place we call our home and Mother. If we turn our hearts to listen and open our eyes to see we will know that we have no choice but to do everything we can to save our planet.

I take issue with the possible idea that in creating mixes electronically we are using a lot of energy. If we all drove cars and plugged in big instruments with big amps etc and got together in real space we’d be consuming a heck of a lot more energy. Of course we do a lot of this without exchanging money so we aren’t doing the ailing economy any good. Oh well… :-)

Lovely work and well worth the added effort. The added vocal harmonies complete the track beautifully. Think we have the full picnic now ;-).

Great, LS
I had listened to it yesterday and it substantially adds big 2nd voices to an already big production. not only a remixer, you are a real composer ‘round here. I mean, you change the text and fit it to a new arrangment and harmony (as I do sometimes, check my latest different woman..). I understand that this may not please the vocalist ego, but surely please all the people like me who listened to tens of remixes of this song and find a true original beauty. it reminds me your exceptional “Holliwood in brand new jeans”, that was not chosen by CG for her CD release. Also for this, snowflake did not choose much enthusiasm and chose Ivan Chew’s version for the day’s highlight on her website. the reason to me is just the same, that is the orginal pella uploader is fond of her version, the farther you go from that the more you are distant from her appreciation. I just wanted to keep you confident that you did another great remix, and I’m happy that the number of feedbacks you’re having is witnessing this

Carasone, you have always spoke from the heart and i truly appreciate it.

I don’t see a vocalist not commenting on a mix of their acapella as a problem. As a singer i know that to hear yourself in a different setting can be at times a shock. Sometimes its hard to find words as music is so personal.

A recommend is enough. I have always produced songs for myself first and if someone else gets pleasure from that then that is a bonus.

Your words do make and keep me confident as in this hyper space that’s all i have . So thanks always for your support :-).
