Thanks, teru, and I understand your concern. This is a sample-heavy piece and I worked hard making it sound like a continuous horn section — but it’s not. All the samples (the multiple horns, the bass) are very short, most under half-a-second and all are altered. The main horn, for example, is just a quick hit that I’ve altered into completely different notes and rhythm. The longest sample is the horn break at the end of the verses, but even that’s altered and very short.

I def think it’d pass current copyright law, especially after a New York court recently overturned the ridiculous Bridgeport v Dimension decision.
