Great idea! you need to check your mix though, its quite tricky to get the beat at times, vocals and bass seem to be fighting for supremacy. Love the squelches and sweeps!

This mix is damn good. you totally took it to left field and made it into a really experimental hip hop song. Best of all you kept the dirty feeling and funkiness of the original.
