Glad I got to listen to this before I headed for bed. It’s an absolute delight. Quirky and eccentric, but so are the words of the song. I’m very happy that the Babies broke out the synths and decided to play with me. Thank you. xxxx

Very pleased you can dig it Ciggi. I can relate to the lyrics, albeit from a male perspective. You’ve a beautiful voice. Pleasant dreams.

Minor tweaks to the vocal mix near the first of the song. It is finished ;)

Smiled all the way through this. I know you’re American but this sounds so very British. I know, Ciggi’s accent helps but I’m thinking of the great British (here’s that word again) eccentrics like The Fall. I think this is utterly charming.

Thank you St. Paul! Yes, I am American; But many of my influences are British. Even in The Fall, I believe there was some cross-pollination. The singer married an American, and she joined the band. She co-wrote with the singer (can’t remember his name) making them more accessible.

A nice contrast between Ciggi’s voice and the synth backing, which works very well.

this one is ahead of its time. see, in about 150 years this will be a world-wide smash. Ciggi’s smooth organic delivery & a bunch of Babies on synth just says Star Wars era exotica to me.

Thank you very much Mr. Moon! It might surprise you to know that some of those synth sounds were played on a mid-‘70’s Roland SH-5.
