Well once in a while a piece of music can stir me to move somewhere special in my old cerebreal world and this is just such a piece.
The number of instruments is irrelevant in creating great music but that bit of magic dust is. You have really given this a nice dusting!! My only neg thoughts is that the added percussion intrudes a little here and there. I think its needed but in a few places it does not work for me. Still this is a great piece and the vocals and lyrics are first rate. It would be nice if you put the vox sample up to let a few of us play about with it. |

Glad you can dig it. I’ll post the pella tonight.

Your lyrics are always so mysterious, alluring and poetic. I love this piece. Your delivery, your embellishments both sensitive and soulful. excellent work.

Cannot say nothing about lyrics (spoken english is very dificult to me) but I like the way you sing and the ambiance you make. I agree with radiotimes about the percussion. Thanks for your inspiration.

Thanks Pitx. Yes, English is strange;
but that’s the beauty of it! |

The piano is beautiful but the words are awesome!
n9 ps - consider me your #1 American Idol fan! :) That show needs a shake up and you might be the right guy to deliver it! |

really, really great! it stands out as a great song in it’s own right and just begs to be remixed as well. And that makes it pretty much the perfect ccMixter track!
crazy idea: have you considered just keeping the cymbals and getting rid of the other drum hits? At least to my ears, the cymbals add quite a bit of value, whereas the other drum hits maybe less? That might also make it easier to build remixes right on top of this? Great piece in any case! |
