as a DAW i use ableton 8.3, it has a lot of effects inside wich make third party effects unnecesary, then synths; sylenth1( my favorite), karma fx, gladiator 2 and absynth for the intro pads. These synths are used in several instances the bass is for instance the sylenth but the squelch at the end of the track is also sylenth.

fx are made by oversampling, filtering, reversing etc, all what i can do to create nice sounds

ps, no hardware involved, just a quad core pc and a daw with vst instruments
ps2 i forgot to mention massive synth vst

ps if you’d like i could put up an stems pack with tagged streams so you can listen to how the individual synths sound, but i only do this on request cause it’s an awful lot of work
