Outstanding three-part hip-hop medley!
Lots to say about this one ;)
*Excellent use of MissJudged’s vocals, I like how she sounds like her voice is from an old timey radioplay.
*Speaking of which, “Voyage of Instrastar” what an awesome find! Full of great bites, but I do wonder about if it’s actually public domain though, it looks like it’s from 1979 (maybe you can help when you get a chance?)
*Backing up a bit, reiswerk’s vocal source looks like it got deleted (no info) and I was wondering how you isolated it, did you use a stem-extractor? The best I got was from inverting reiswerk’s stem mix with the full mix, which was decent just not clean …
*For the re-recordings of mixes, did you use those stems or new ones, asking because I liked those dope loops, and I’m sure lots of other people would to ;)
*Overall, a consistent and steady flow with nice transfers and excellent bass work!

OTR: So everything before 1978 is safe, and this is probably safe as well. There was a “window” that closed that year. So I’m going to go with “safe”

Reading more, yeah Safe.

News to me, glad I looked though it means I can use even more OTR now!!!

Yes, I used this stem splitter: https://voice.ai/tools/stem-splitter

And all of the loops I used in this project come from commercial loop companies but I rarely isolate loops. You’re safe to use them. I can look later and see where they came from to tell you.

— loops:
Producer Loops (first drums)
loopgems ” Midnight fuel loop kit” the kit labeled “nightshift.” These sounds made up most of the song.

First bass: Mode Audio “Grit & Groove Lo-Fi hip hop loops” (most drums)

Second bass: Prime Loops “Smokers Delight Baked Beats”

——— The three rap tracks were build around three of the loop kits from this free pack: https://payhip.com/b/DrVIA

With added loops of course.

Of course, I’m a severe audiophile with like 50 dvds of legal samples 😂 if you ever wonder where something came from ask. I like promoting the companies that make the commercial stuff I use.

Like I’m really in love with that Sound Planet company. It’s interesting to suddenly realize quite a few loop companies went under and it’s not who I thought it would be. I guess they’re like the rest of the music industry lol
