Big smile from me throughout. Happy to have been lo-fied, minimalized, and chilled to perfection. :)

So relaxing and open to interpretation, just like a lazy summer sunset.

Listen to Cul de Sac and John Fahey’s The Epiphany of Glenn Jones sometime. It’s like you dragged this track out of the cutting room floor sweepings (which that album must have had a lot of ;-). Very fine..almost astringent in its clarity. Cool.

Knowing your freckled relationship with the Blues ;-) I can’t resist pointing out this *also* evokes Muddy Waters’ recording “My Home is in the Delta” from the ”Folk Singer” album, where…
…the backing guitar is so *held back* and turns out to be by none other than the very young (and not yet renowned as a businessman and showoff) Buddy Guy. My wife refers to this as Buddy’s best recording. There’s just *nothing* extra in that track. And there’s precious little extra in this. Great source! |

Your recommendation (and Apoxode’s mix) inspired me to get out my guitar (not the toy one) and make some noises, which I then mixed with a bass and a drum track from unreal_dm and some electric guitar from Fireproof Babies. Turned out not so minimal, but pretty cool. Probably uploading it tomorrow if you’re interested.

Of all yesterday’s (haha) entries, this is the one I’ve got on autoplay today. There’s only…just…enough.
The Swedish word is “lagom”. |

sitting on the front porch playing toy guitar, watching the sunset and drifting comfortably into the sounds of crickets in the distance. fantastic organization of parts and sections.
