Process
The AS1 single voice is controlled by the Oberkorn (sequence) and Theremin (transposition and volume). The AS1 is the "source."
AS1 output was recorded and also routed via FX bus to the G2M driving the Roland and Yamaha. This creates a dose of uncertainty as the MIDI box quantizes drunkenly chasing the Theremin glissandi while seeking chromatic pitch.
Four separate takes--gated and inflected using the Theremin--were then sequence aligned and volume and panning added. Pans can be removed by ripping to mono.
Other Notes
So, Stéphane Grappelli and Béla Bartók walk into a bar. Stockhausen looks up from behind the bar and asks "What'll you have...?"
