Original Samples
Reversed and stretched crash cymbal, processed snare, created entire drum track (no drum stems in original download).
Process
I began by trying to line up the stems as musically as possible. Next I created a drum track with alternating rhythms; I cut and pasted in sections to build the track. I then identified different sections and noted how I wanted the parts to flow in and out using effects and muting. I added aux tracks on nearly everything to add flavor and effects to the guitar, bass, vocals, and drum track. After some fine-tune editing on the main vocal track and various tweaking of effects throughout I bounced down to a stereo track. That stereo track was then bounced again with some light mastering (EQ/limiting).
Other Notes
This was a really fun project and the stems sounded great. I only spent about 2-3 hours on this due to a limited deadline but may revisit in the future.
