How I Did It

by Admiral Bob
Tools I Used
A shaker, bongoes, a snare drum, Fender P-Bass, Fender Tele, and DVS saxophone (a plug in.)
Samples I Used
I used the vocal and piano from snowflake's "Falling"
Original Samples
Some percussion parts, a Telecaster in a Fender Twin, the bass played straight into the board, a saxophone part.
Process
Started with the percussion, as I wanted to carefully follow the dynamic. I played everything as though I were a live musician accompanying, following the piano player.
Then I added bass, sax, and finally guitar, panned opposite to the sax, so they sound like they are challenging each other.
Other Notes
Wanted a live feel, and I think I got it.
