How I Did It
Uses samples from:
Tools I Used
Pro tools for the vocal/guitar edits
Reason for the instruments/loops rewired into pro-tools
Lots of uad1 compressors and eq to make things sit in the mix
T-racks compressors for the overall mix finish.
Original Samples
a Kawai R100 snare sample tuned up to sound like a jazz brush
Process
Firstly find good loops by cutting the original-then work out the loop tempo.
Put all the pieces back together trying to make it flow .
Other Notes
organize workflow -must use more keyboard shrtcuts to save time and attention to detail- forgetting to un-mute the kick !
if your recording material to be remixed-leave the out-takes at the end of the file- they can often be used creatively by someone :-)
