How I Did It
Tools I Used
Itouch Curtis Granular synthesis, Glitch vst, DAW.
Samples I Used
Jhonblack Vocal samples
Process
Sliced and diced parts of the vocals I liked, looped and layered them together. This served as the ambiance. Also ran some of them through a granular synthesis and and glitch vst which serve as accents to the track in some spots. Lowered the pitch of the vocals in some parts to add contrast. Created dubstep/drum and bass style beat. Added a dub-ish style bleep throughout the track that serves as the tracks pulse.
Other Notes
I love looping and layering vocal sounds together to create new and unique sounds that the original vocalist would have never of expected. Tried to create an ambience with this as the background, and then move the track with a sweet dubstep beat.
