the topline is inspired by taetro’s new single: ghost x
it started off as me just improvising on this track at home, posting it - and the artist himself responding (!!!) so here we are!! the preview here has reverb, but the zipped file has the dry stems :) I’ve included the track here with my own topline :) it’s about feeling your ‘ghosts’ before being able to free them - and what’s haunting your mind, maybe haunting someone who used to be in your life, too. we’ll just never really know. it’s also about saying what you need to say, now - and perhaps that’ll free us from being haunted and tormented. maybe when we finally let the heart speak, we’ll be set free xx I can’t quite tell this person who I parted ways with, that I am rooting for them even when we’re apart - so I’ll sing it instead. lyrics: I wanna tell you somethin’ I’ll tell you now I know that it’s OK and we are better apart but the waves keep crashin’ crashin’ crashin’ Tell me now I know it’s too late But I But I Feel all the ghosts running inside your mind running through my mind too Free all the ghosts Haunting your mind I’m still in the same corner, rooted on your corner Rooting for you even when you can’t feel the waves crashin’ Crashin’ crashin’
