Your arguments are but excuses
to protect ill-gotten gains
The whole world is on to you
yet your bullshit remains

You know, not everyone is stupid
though you’re right, most are
That’s no excuse to use them
to make yourself a star

What part do you have to shut down
in order to even consider
electing a goddam orange clown

Consider the people who voted you there

with each new corporate flag you unfurl

Remember the people you’re of by and for
You know it’s immoral to profit from war
You’re corrupt and diseased and have lost your allure

The system is broken and so is my spirit
They don’t want to fix it, they want us to fear it
They won’t answer questions, they know how to steer it
away from the truth or anywhere near it
