Here are the VOCAL STEMS.

I drew the wonderful Porch Cat, whom I’ve loved since my very first days at ccMixter in 2006. I loved exploring his vast body of work, and selected loops and samples that seemed to evolve around a “space” theme, to take a journey through music to imaginary constellations.

A special thanks to Spinmeister for helping out with some guitar, synth and additional loops.

I mixed this not on my regular gear, only with headphones. I now can hear I need to turn down the vocal levels and fix some EQs. I’ll try to mix again and replace ASAP. Other feedback is welcome.

Peace.

Escape Pod

Floating
In indecision
Hoping
I’m wrong

Witness
To degradation
The ants go
Marching on
They march on
Marching on

Sinister
Anger around me
Tunnel vision
And we’re undone
We’re undone
Now we’re done

Now
Is my escape pod
Now
Is my escape
The now
Is my escape pod
In now
I escape

A matrix of
Pale imitation
You fools geology
Is what’s real
And this moment is real
Forget what you feel
This moment is real
What is real

Now
Is my escape pod
Now
Is my escape
The now
Is my escape pod
In now
I escape

And there’s nowhere that’s safe
Yea there’s no hiding place
So there’s no other way
Oh than to be here now

And there’s nowhere that’s safe
Yea there’s no hiding place
So there’s no other way
Oh than to be here now

And there’s nowhere that’s safe
Yea there’s no hiding place
So there’s no other way
Oh than to be here now

Now
Is my escape pod
Now
Is my escape
The now
Is my escape pod
In now
I escape

And now I’m hiding from the world
Now I’m hiding from the world
I’m in this world
But not of it
In this world
But not of it
In this now
In this now
Now
