Well, I missed the two weeks of the Secret Mixter, but luckily, back it at without falling off the wagon for Open. This is the fifth track from the album - heartfelt thanks to all of you for supporting so far. Truly.

This song is in 6/8 time at 118 BPM, key of E. There is an alternating 5-count section in the bridge (as opposed to 4 regularly!) Thanks to spinningmerkaba for his great acoustic guitar work!

I wrote this track during a pretty difficult time…and through it, realized I could only surrender to how infinitely small we all are in the vast universe. I am really nothing!

Bewildered

Waiting ‘til dawn for hours
You sit in lotus in the backyard
Asking for peace to come
Can’t give that to you
Can’t give it to no one

‘Cause I’m really nothing

Venus hasn’t left her light on
Her lunar lover is long, long gone
There’s no eraser
For the wrongs we’ve done
But I’d do it again
If it brought us back to the one

‘Cause I’m really nothing without you
I’m really nothing at all
I’m really nothing without you
I’m really nothing

Heaven and hell combined
Invariably intertwined
Heaven and hell combined
Invariably intertwined
Heaven and hell combined
Intertwined

Bewildered body
Absent mind

I choose this bliss
I choose this kiss

‘Cause I’m really nothing without you
I’m really nothing at all
I’m really nothing without you
I’m really nothing at all
I’m really nothing

I choose this
