You Got Me Cookin’
I got completely lost in Susan’s extensive catalog until I found a pell about cooking, and well, seeing its secret sauce secret mixter, it felt appropriate. Added some smokey flavour to the recipe by pushing her vox a full 2 whole steps down ( I can’t believe she now sounds like ccM’s Calling Sister Midnight! (Melody Romancito)) Played the muted trumpet with my fav new toy Dubler 2 (voice to midi) by whistling the lead runs and pushing them through a well known soft synth. Also did the bass with Dubler 2, but this time not whistling, but saying “bum bum bum” more like a barber shop quartet. Piano was played normally though not in real time. Thank you so much Susan, for taking me on such a wonderful journey through your stuff, and I hope I haven’t upset you too much by overcooking your wonderful vocal. ScOmBeR 2.0 2024 x
