The Oxidization of the C120 Tape

I still keep my old cassette tapes despite their continual decline into total unplayability. I was warned not to buy C120 tapes as the tape itself was made so thin that its life span was far less than the other makes. Ever the thrifty one I ignored this advice and now have shoe boxes filling up with metal oxide powders.
The upside when listening to these tapes is that in some cases the music takes on a new life as words drop in and out and sometimes repeat themselves forming new versions of the recorded song!! I have taken the liberty of emulating this effect somewhat on Anchors vocal.
