This spoken word track features ccmixter user thaumata, who is the moderator at http://www.splicemusic.com, which offers remixers an easy-to-use on-line sequncer, so that even someone without any equipment or software other than a web browser can create Creative Commons remixing.

Thaumata achieved a kind of youtube celebrity prior to her splicemusic stint. This track samples liberally, with permission, from her youtube video “Amiee. Internet. Amiee” which may be viewed at:

The central melody in this track was created using sawcutter 2.0, which in turn used as an envelope a sample from the wonderful tulga on-line virtual glockenspiel.
