Drove On By (Remix au Lynch )

I wanted to work with this lyric because of the double meaning implied by Ms Suzi, wherein jesus means two different things, sometimes in the same sentence. This was a challenging remix to do without leaning on the usual HH cliches. I let the little riddim loop tail off into the wash to hang the end as a question instead of the usual break-nothing-break scheme. And I took some liberties with Suzi’s delivery..cutting and repeating certain phrases, altering the cadence a little.
