The Seventh Day Seraphim
An original Christmas song written for Incarnadine’s music “Seraphim/the 7th day”. A reflective piece with a slight melancholic tinge. I’d like to thank my sister, Victoria Melfi for the Angel voices back-up she did for me.
Sometimes we can all be petty and shallow, other times we seem to soar into realms of universal understanding - perhaps this is the human condition. This song is dedicated to all of you who have shaken your head and wondered what its all about and yet still hope for Love. Lyrics: 5 in the morning I couldn’t sleep snow outside is falling on a Christmas Eve….. seems like all my years are trundled into one tied up like a present in a past thats just begun….. old angel on the treetop a vintage hand-me-down sings of my renewal as if to bring me ‘round….. but the songs of the season the radio must play lay hushed up for a reason on the seventh day….
