Searching for Coltrane on Seventh Avenue NYC

John Coltrane was arguably the greatest jazz musician of all time. He took the music and created a sound that had the ability to reach into the soul like no other. His life was built on searching for musical perfection and the spirituality of the music which he believed made him the man he was. He fought heroin addiction and beat it but at the young age of 40 succumbed to cancer. After over 50 years since his death he is still relevant not only in jazz but in the whole field of music.
Good music transcends its genre and so it is here as Javolenus again provides the bed to lay the music on. It’s a folk ballad on an acoustic guitar but played in such a way that it lends itself to many interpretations.
