When browsing for a sample, something that frustrates me is that I have to download each mp3, open them up in another program - then decide if its appropriate for what I am working on.

Would there be a way to implement a flash based audio player so you could hear the sample or remix before committing to download it?

Something like ODEO is doing?

I’m assuming you’re using the sample browser. If you are clicking on the little speaker and your browser starts downloading the MP3s then it sounds like your computer’s MP3 player is not configured properly for the streaming.

The combination of streaming and browser software is too big to try and cover here but the general idea is that you want associate M3U files with your streaming media player in your browser.

If you don’t see a little speaker icon (typically on ZIP archives) then, yes, for now you have to download the archive to your local machine.
