Would it be OK to put Midi and Instruments in the Samples?

I would like to add the Midi and Instruments as part of my samples.
- The patches I created for the instruments, i.e. Dune, Alchemy, Ableton.
- The Midi I used.
- Ableton pack for the remix.

I can see this could be a potential floodgate.

I don’t see this as an option, but would zip them up, would this be OK?

The more source material the better. I always try to upload a MIDI file in addition to the audio stems whenever I post something. That way if somebody likes what I’m playing, but hates the instrument, they can change it.

It can only be a positive because it provides more options to the mixers. Plus, MIDI files are tiny files.

However, I’d be careful about including the patches. Make sure you have the license/right to redistribute those patches. If they include samples you don’t own, you probably can’t do it. But if you’re talking about patches for some free subtractive synth VST, for example, sure, why not?
