Hi!
Just discovered ccMixter a few days ago, and truly impressed. Thanks
2 questions:
1- Aside music, I write lyrics and poetry. How to identify a french speaking singer, or french poetry “spoken_words” on the site?
2- (I’m just a ‘under the shower’ singer) How can I submit my texts to a singer, except in recording an a cappella myself, and hoping someone picks it up and does a better song out of it? Even if some of them already have a melody, can I just upload them as zipped text files for instance?
Thank you
Phil

1. we use “tags” so you can search at the top of every page or go directly there via the address:

ccmixter.org/tags/french

2. The short answer is that we’re not really set up for that. Occasionally people do old fashioned “collaborations” and even do a part “on demand” but mainly we’re building a sample pool for remixers/producers to pull from to fit their needs.
