Thanks. I tried hard to push the mix in a cinematic direction though I need to learn so much more about mixing.

Awesome! Great sounding, great composition! The russian choir is very good. lol
The title of your mix is a good idea. The Shchedrik is NOT russian, they are Ukranians!
I love Kitka. First, because American young girls sing Eastern Europian songs, for example a Hungarian song too :), second, they are simply fantastic singers!

Kitka did so many great tracks! I can’t believe there are three remixes only so far. I think I’ll go for one or two of their other songs later.

Hans Zimmer has a big disadvantage: He does not believe in creative commons. So I cannot pick him as Catch of the day. :)

The song of Kitka already has enough quality to be heard alone. But you have given a special touch that makes it more attractive and powerful. I love it. Congrats.

Agreed: the original song sounds great already. I even hesitated to put an EQ on the vocals first ;)

Cool - I agree with your statement on negative reviews by the way. The feedback from the community is a great way to learn. Let me know when you find things to improve.

Ich habe mich wirklich bemüht - aber ich finde einfach nichts zu kritisieren … außer dass es vieeel länger sein könnte ;-)
