Another top-notch mix from you, Tobias. Impossible to tell, by my ears, this was from independently created stems.

This makes perfect sense.
I love this easy listening 70s / 80s sound so much.
This is already a classic.
Who wonders with that material to work on?

I love it when you hear a mix that 100% upends and subverts the original mood of a vocal. Whereas the original vocal offers a mood of surrender, this one is alluring…. tempting the grim reaper? Heh, now that’s dark, even as it breezes with lightness.

Yes, I was surprised too, how good the vocal fits to the backtrack despite the different bpm and beat. :)

It rained here in my little oasis of this vast planet…and I wandered into the garden where the raindrops still hung on the tips of the greens leaves and the flowers were filled with life. This is the perfect soundtrack for that uplifting. Arms stretched out and the sun comes through opening a new path in our connectedness. Thanks for the smooth grooves!

damn this is so smooth and delicious. i am amazed at how you fit my vocal so perfectly with the funky, nuanced jazz groove. that sax is sooooooo yummy. your guitar work is really, really excellent and placed perfectly in the stereofield. The entire mix is so cleanly polished and yet artistic and sensual. I’m drinking the music in like a fine wine that I can’t get enough of.

Well, I just dragged the vocal stem into the session and was surprised about how smoothly your vocal nestled on to the backtrack. I’m very glad you like the remix. Many thanks for your kind words!
