you’ve found a great expertise in this project Speck — you seem to have an unworldly mastery of working with whale songs. bravo.

Well I don’t know about expertise but I’ve certainly found a great deal of inspiration in this project. I’m really enjoying it. (I think I have one more mix in the offing.)

Man, the otamatone works so well in this (mine died a few years back). And I dig the organic sound of Martijn’s bass. Thanks for singing, too… your bubbling/purring inflection is great. Love the intensity at 3:45. Thanks for the include.

Big thanks for your most excellent and inspiring vocals.

I remember you mentioning you had an otamatone some time ago (it’s been years?). I just bought mine a few weeks ago (maybe months?) in a fit of boredom. I’m a little surprised at how much I like the darn thing. I definitely play with it more than any other musical toy I have. It’s so basic (and cute).

Right you are… yeah… years! I just did a quick tag search on my page… I used the otamatone in “Shape Shifting Aliens” in 2011. Whoa.

It’s so fun that you’ve been enjoying your otamatone. Makes me smile.
